888PL $20K DreamTeam Score Board wrote:"To compete for your share of the $20,000 prize pool you must have participated in 10 Away (in venue) and 5 Home (online) games. Rankings are calculated on the average of your best 15 games."

Show me where it says that its best 10 Away, and 5 Home.

We've all bitched about this enough. Its how it is for this season. Maybe next season, things will change.

I'm not even sure if it's actually for anything.

It could be, but I'm that uninterested in it for reasons mentioned above.

I did have a lol (and a very big one) at the thought of the live events being the social crapshoots with no skill. Played an online freeroll lately? I'll agree that online is less social......

For what it's worth - AK is a good player (at least by 888PL standards) both live and online. The crapshoot exists in both home and away games. Large events, which therefore give large points, mixed in with not very large events (and therefore much lower points) might be a better direction to point the finger at instead of the number of home and away games required.

You may even notice (if you care to look) that this has already been brought up :P
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

the dols wrote:Sorry people, no positives here. The dream team is just an absolute joke. Supposedly this should be the best players across home and away but as I have said in this thread before it is just another online scoreboard.

Dont believe me then look at who is on top. AK. His home average is 195.47 and surprise surprise his dreamteam average is 195.47.

Obviously quite a reasonable online player. Lets now look at his away average. 13.94 from an aggregate of 265 points from 19 games.

Now lets be serious a player of this standard should not feature on a "DREAMTEAM" leaderboard.

PS this is not a bitch at Aaron but purely the system. If it states you need 10 away and 5 online games to qualify then surely this is how the scoring average should be calculated.

I say it again, just another home scoreboard with no incentive of playing live except for 10 games to qualify. The joke of it is that you dont even need to play those games just register sit down and then leave. Looking at Aarons away scores, he may well have adopted this strategy!!!!
Garth this needs to be sorted, it is a JOKE.

to be honest, this sounds very much like a case of sour grapes to me.

If the Dream Team Scoreboard contains results from every live event as well as every online event, where can we see results for events like the Berri Deepstack tournament?

This is pretty slack in my opinion if these have been forgotten about or hidden somewhere.

I wondered if this was correct
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Pretty sure Garth said in another thread that these games would count toward scoreboards.
