You saw "constructive" and added "bridge" into the equation

Lovely work mate!
So Bob...
Double points for an entire month with plenty of notice... your thoughts?
Pete, you know I find it difficult to reply with just one liners so I'll say what I think and you take it from there.
Sadly, it doesn't really matter what you or I think. I don't really care, just so long as we all know before the start of a season.
I really liked the "Teams event", the "Berri big stack" and the "Winners playoff at the Casino". They were all great ideas that didn't effect the leader boards unless you missed one of your venues that were on the same day.
Those sort of events encouraged things like, punters all over Adelaide and the regions making up a team of their mates and or supporting their venue while boosting another venues income who sponsored the event.
Or the likes of 400 punters turning up to support a country venue like the Berri Big Stack.
Or, tourney winners over the last 4 weeks of the season having a seperate tourney at the Casino.
And they didn't effect the leader boards.
I don't think we need to go to the casino unless it was part of the deal as Parafield Gardens has shown it can cope with 385 runners. Knowing Greg (sorry I know him too Pete) I'm sure he would jump at the chance to promote something like that.
I'm only guessing here but he might even put a marqui on the outside lawn for meals etc, so all the finalists have one start time in the main room. And last time we were talking about the Gardens hosting one of the finals Greg said he could probably use the Catholic School grounds next door for the the additional parking.
Gregs an excellent Manager and I'm sure he's thinking way outside the square as we speak and will put on a great show for all to enjoy.
The bottom line is let's do it for the punters and they will come.
