Think they tried it at the Planet too.. but it was so popular that they only needed half of the upstairs bars. :lol:

I think it is a great idea Garth, it is after all only 1 player going through & I am sure that they would still support their local venue even if they were guarunteed a finals place before the season began. Playing at the pubs every week is a very different game to what is played at the finals. And maybe if venues or other players think its not fair, maybe say they get auto qualification only if they play a minimum of 15 games of the season, then at least they are still supporting npl & their venues...... :D
