You're a Bunch of Factors

I realise the points distribution is a set thing, and can agree with the reasons why, but what are the thoughts on making it the top 20 get points for when there's 100+ runners?

Could be fairly easily implemented I would think and just continue on from the existing points 'payout' structure.

Thoughts please....

Has Big Pete finished on the bubble one too many times? In all honesty it wouldn't be that easy to implement. The coding required whilst slightly above intermediate level, would probably take quite awhile to get into place.

I don't think it is a good idea, mainly because I think there is certainty when we know it is top 15 who gets points. The size of the tournament will be reflected from the size of the bonus points.

That's why I kept the suggestion simple ie if there's 100+ runners then it's top 20 and that's it. Don't have to be a maths genius to pay attention to your TD announcing that there's 100+ runners

ANYTHING to try and consistently make the points eh Pete? If you get this one in a cpl of seasons though, I'll hand over a six pack of carlsberg. Now that's some incentive to try and get it up and running

sounds ok as long as it is clear to all players at the beggining of the season.
