should 888 take people out of the tournament if they havent played a hand in the first set of blinds......
i do believe they should so i spoke to someone about this and they told me they were trying to reduce this by reducing rego time how ever i think they should reduce blind times

reducing blind times would make tournaments even more of a crap shoot....

I believe what was meant in the in the response from 888 is that we are reducing the rego times, not the blind level lengths.

I'm disappointed. I thought we were gonna hear a ghost story or something creepy.

the biggest problem here is with the AK and MURRIN tourneys in particular as they both still have 3 hour rego periods so there are a lot of dead stacks from the 150 starters, if they were restricted to 30 minutes as well it would help...
shortening blinds will do nothing, however garth has indicated that there will probably be antes introduced later in the tourneys with the upgrade in march which should help get rid of these dead stacks a bit faster...

Remember players maybe registering just to get the required no of online games to qualify for DT etc etc etc
I would rather have a dead stack on my table than some numb nut that insists on running the play clock down tothe last second thinking that by doing this you wont be able to get a read on it, but with turbo nature of the online game you only need 2 or 3 of these tools on your table to eat away into the blind time.
