Congrats on getting the scoreboards sorted, Garth.

(there is just one multiple that I can see. Russell Carter aka WOWAAWOW in the Home scoreboard)

I appreciate the time and effort you put into getting this sorted. I was having a chat with someone the other night who let me know, in very general terms, what some of the background issues are.

In light of these, I do apologise for being perhaps a tad harsh in my criticism. My assumptions about the issues were incorrect.

Now that you have the data issues sorted, is there any possibility of getting the queries right so we can have meaningful reports on the website?

Thanks PK!

My brain might be a bit frazzled right now.

But I really do not understand what you mean by this statement?

i think he means getting the results /leaderboards page for a single player back to the same functionality as with the old website

Hey there PMK number 2, (you know I am the original PMK)..
What reports ? Do you mean additional info ?
There are things I would like to see also on the site, but haven't raised those yet. 1 step at a time my friend....Patience, its nearly there !!. Lets not add anything else until the current issues are sorted..

Pffft... please... I am THE pmk. Don’t make me slap you with a copyright infringement.

The current reports don’t easily show the home leader boards or split multiple game venues or venue results etc. To find information it’s a little ungainly. For instance, if a player wanted to know which home games to concentrate halfway through the season, it’s not easily determined. I can’t remember all of the details of the old site leader board but there’s no player stats and other features so it seems like this current leader board layout is a backward step.

I understand there are other issues more important and there may be a whole range of other things to fix with the website, but it would be a shame to have the leader boards left as they are.

Pmk

You can see what games you need to focus on . Go to home game leaderboard .
Click the game you want to know about "top right "Where it says tournament type , scroll through the days .

yeah... sure.. but that takes time.. you have to search every game type and every day to see how you are doing. There's no indexing by player.

PMK number 2 is right ( don't make me break out the chronometer....) it still needs fine tuning, but all in good time. I have no doubt Garth and Co have been working pretty damn hard to correct the current issues. There is stuff that will improve the site, but, one headache at a time ..... Once the big "Tick" has been attached to the current system, and Garth has had 30 seconds to catch his breath (hmmm .... too generous...lets make that 27 seconds) then it can be prettied up a bit more.
