does the dream team points scoring need to be changed

due to the large number of players at several QLD venues is it fair to use the existing system?
I think maybe a fairer system would be to have top 15 from each state play off on the 1st night of GRAND FINAL, currently it would be impossible for a non QLD player to win the dream team.

I think English would be a better start. I have no idea what you just said.

Only cool part about this post, is it makes my posts look like Shakespere writes them.

So is that a no for changing the system?

Currently the system caters for players that are demographically near large venues. If some of these venues like Southport RSL and Southport workers (in the same street) have 7 nights a week of poker with players 75+ it is going to be easy to finish high in the Dream team just by making the final table 1 times out of every 9 times. Easy enough to do if you are half decent player.

I do see your point, however there are a lot of people in a worse position than you who do not complain (sorry, complain may not be the best word here, but hopefully you get my point).

People in regional areas do not have the opportunity to regularly play the larger city venues.

I think the current system is the fairest it has ever been.

I like how you have provided another option, however in my opinion the dreamteam is about rewarding the best player over a season. A one off game like you have suggested may see the best player of the season knocked out in the first hand.

Also, with the GF being played in defferent states, what if a "qualifier" can't get to the GF, they then miss an opportunity to become a member of the dreamteam.

Is a great topic of discussion though & I look forward to reading the opinions of others here.

this has always been the case, even within each state.

give it a season or 2 to settle down

lol , Whats it matter if they have 75+ players every night . They still have to do good online as well as @ venues .Playing 75+ runners every night & your saying 1/9 final tables ( LOL ) . You make 1 in 9 final tables in a season ,Against how many runners do you play ?
Then look @ my last seasons away games stats :o .
how many final tables & against how many players ? WOW

Its how you play both games ;) not just venue games
Your top 10 home & top 10 away scores that matter in the END

As much as I'm on your side Harps, fact of the matter is that it IS harder to make more DT points if your venuse have 20 runners, vs 100 runners (and whatever in between)
