Semi final qualification

Postby madali » Tue Oct 12, 2010 6:54 pm

Just saw the list of qualifiers for the semi final Victoria and I qualified woop woop. Was lucky though was through a random grand final qualifier at a venue I don't play. Can I ask a question. In the past if you were on the leader board for an online game on a particular night, ie with me Tuesday and Wednesday I was top 5 for the 888PL DAILY FEATURE EVENT - $200 GTD ,you used to qualify for the semi finals. This last season it appears to have grouped all nights together and only the top 5 for the game itself for the season have qualified. Is this correct and will this be what happens again this season as I was using online as a way of qualifying and cannot play every night? I was just wondering as if this is the case I may have a season off as with my busy schedule will not find time to play enough to qualify.

I will get back to you on that one.

I dont do qualifier lists, that's left up to each state's ops teams. And at the moment I am in the middle of two rather large and sensitive projects.

To be honest, I am really not that concerned about Home Game qualifers at this time. As Long as all the people from the Away side of the comp are making it through correctly I am happy.

But all home game qualifers must play 10 away games to qualify for the finals and we are now able to doa true national qualifer lists for all finals.

There has been a mistake with the Home Game report for top 5 qualifiers.

We did some recoding recently that changed the game structures within our databases; the report was not updated to pick up on these changes and as such is only generating the top 5 for each GAME TYPE rather then the top 5 from each Game Scoreboard.

I am hoping that this won't take much to fix but it will be left in the hands of MMG and our IT gods.

this came up tonight at our venue and was just after a clarification if possible??

if a person qualifies through a venue that only ran a short season for whatever reason, do those people still have to play 10 live games to be eligible to play even though they have qualified??

totally understand the home game bit and this is only a question, not a situation, well that i know of anyway!!

hey harps

that was what i thought as well, but was told last night that i needn't have played the extra games last season after all and still would have been eligible after playing 4 games...
