2 Quick questions regarding the teams event on Sat.

In the final round, particuarly once down to <= 2 tables, it is likely there will be 2 or more players from the same team at the same table. (or a non multiple of 8 number of teams entering?)

Are there in rules in place to prevent any collusion. for example I can just imagine teammates might not like to play a big pot against each other and therefore softplay HU pots, or other tactics in 3 way pots. Likewise 2 teammates should never sit next to each other, ie both be in the blinds together? Or is this all just 'Gentlemenly/Ladies agreement and honour system' not to gain advantage from such situations?

Im not saying cheating here in the sense of rule breaking (communicating info secretly for example), just things that can give small edges and be pre-arranged strategy and softplay etc.

Also, the way I read the tournament description in OP, ALL players are involved in rounds 1 and 2 yes?

Wow!

It is a teams event, therefore normal tourney rules such as collusion do not come into play. That is not to say that one teammate can say to the other "I have aces, you better fold", but team play is a normal part of a team event, such as respecting a fellow teammates' raise, even when you have premium cards, depending on the situation.....

I will be there and there better not be any collusion or team discussion going on.

Unfortunately soft playing is always a feature of teams events such as this. But all resources will be used to ensure this does not occur.

Unless we play on the same team.

Yes, all team members play 2 shootout rounds.

you should be more worried about the stinky all-round play, much more likely you'll get shafted by that instead of some soft collusion :)
