Hi guys,

just wondering what's happened to the Friday Night Windsor Hotel results for the game played on the 8th of Feb 08...I haven't found any updates for that game displayed on the npl.com.au website yet...

Which is pretty strange...usually the NPL crew are very efficient in uploading the results and points for each game, but nothing has been displayed yet...

just thought i'd give you guys a heads up to see what's happened

They'll be up soon enough, don't worry. Its when you're waiting a week or more for results that you need to worry.

And I'm gonna get this in before Pete does - this ain't the place to be asking for stuff like this. PM/email the tournament director/Garth if its really bothering you.

lol...I actually moved his post into here because if there's any place on the forum to ask then it's here.

This particular section is for asking questions of the NPL itself.

It may even be better that it gets asked here only once instead of Garth receiving 7458043 seperate emails asking the same thing.

Well... when I was asking for my results to be fixed at the Kingsford:

Granted, this is different, but its the same thing, really - asking NPL about results through the forum. Has that policy changed?

**edit** at the time there were also a lot of people assuming that it was the NPL itself that started/ran the site.

ah ok that explains it then, wrong section altogether and I'd have been mad at you for not bothering to read the descriptions that Dave bothered to put there for everyone.


I don't see why you can't ask about results here (in this section only), unless of course Garth would prefer an email.

Ahh... ok. Glad we sorted that out. I did wonder at the time why I couldn't post questions about results here... I mean it is the NPL forum. Just a misunderstanding, that's all.

I don't see why Garth has to be involved - he's probably already busy enough and I think a simple PM to the TD, or even a thread in here, would suffice.

yep, pretty much only Garth or the TD in question could help whoever is asking anyway.

One post in this section may well save Garth some reading

who is this site ran by? is there a small group of you guys that have started this up off of your own back, or did NPL appoint you guys to run the forum and then stepped away and left you to it?

if it was just someones idea to start up a forum, then awesome work, you should be congratulated for being the primary source of timewasting for the past couple of months!
