Is Beer good or what?

going to Little Creatures Brewhouse in a couple of weeks for work,

brett, seriously the BEST place you will ever go - i went there when i was over the west, and i loved it. i was a regular drinker of their beers before that as well

my favorite beers are belgian wheat beers - Leffe Blonde and Hoegaarden are simply magic, although not so magic on the wallet.

my 'standard' cartons that i buy are usually around the 55 dollar mark. for that i usually get james squire amber ale, although their golden ale and india pale are are frickin awesome as well

little creatures pilsner is an awesome beer on a very hot day, but has enough body that you can drink it in the winter as well.


as far as 'cheap' beers go, you can't go past tooheys old - the most underrated beer on the market

a few places have it on tap around the place. the good thing is it is usually on special when tooheys new is on special, so you can get it for 4.50 a pint

There aren't too many beers that I don't like. Quite a fan of TED's and I was on the Pale/Sparkling train for awhile there but after waking up feeling a little worse for wear more than once I've moved on to the filtered beers.

The only beer that I've got an extreme dislike for is VB. And no it's not just because it's VB, I just never dug the taste at all. Mind you, it's been QUITE a long time since I last had it so I might be able to stomache it these days but I'll always hate the little stub-necked bottle.
