They came today!! I've already stuck about 120 songs on them, so I'll be good at work tomorrow. The removal of cords is a godsend. I can type without shit in front of me.

I'm quite likely Wiley's "Wearing my Rolex" right now. Heard it on JJJ this morning. My mate turned me onto Wiley a few years ago.

Well I for one like my technology less show-offy actually. I have a phone. I don't need another. And now I have an awesome 8GB MP4 player. Personally I get the heebies when technology starts getting smarter than me. I have Terminator style nightmares of the machines taking over. Brrrrr-rrrrrrr.

I'll stick to a player that lets me record my voice or the FM radio at will. That charges via USB or an AC/DC wall charger. A player that supports various video and music formats and includes software to convert any other formats you might be messin' with. A player that can even be used as a just-in-case flash memory drive. A player that doesn't have aspirations of grandeur or world-domination. A player that plays stuff good.

And need I point out that at that ridiculously low price, you'll still have change from a hundred dollar note. Heaps of change in fact. Enough to buy a silicone skin for it. Oh but hey, we're throwing one of those in for free! So you'll have to find another way to spend that change. Why not pay $11 off your mortgage? Or fill up with 7 litres of petrol....
