okay computer genius's, the virus i currently have doesnt allow me to open anything microsoft related, and whenever i search through google it redirects me to some smiley desktop screen or spam screens. starting to slightly bug me.

help me Pleeeeaaaaasssssseeeeee

REboot into safe mode with networking support if you have Wireless

Ad Aware, Spybot S&D, then housecall.

yeah now I'm screwed. it won't even let me connect to the internet. I have a wireless 3 modem. and the message up coming when I restart the computer says

the TCP/IP network transport is not installed

what do do from here

So it won't let you connect in safe mode. Or in normal mode?
Its not a brick yet, and it should be easy to get it fix, once we get over these hurdles.

If you can still boot up normally, and it loads. Try the ctrl alt del, and use the task manager to see if anything is using a lot of resources in the processes tab. Some viruses aren't that smart, and list themselve. If you can close the process good. If not, but you know it is shenaniganning your computer, you can attempt to delete the strings associated with regedit - NB only if you feel confident.

If not call one of the butlers to help nerd the computer a little. Don't listen to Nathan saying if this was an apple it would never have happened. .

if your pc can still boot... Boot up in "Safe mode" As you see the drivers load in console hit F2.... then wait a few seconds... then login.... Once booted Go to start/run and type "msconfig" with out the quotes.... go to the startup tab.... And shut everything down.... then reboot normally and run your scanner.... Let me know what goes on!

yeah i did try that.. still didnt work at the time...

but all is semi good now ...lol

with a lot help from a lot of people, we managed to get everything working again, internet stick is running again, removed majority of the viruses..just slow as piss atm

Yeah sweet... Now your running kinda ok, you can now do a system restore back to a point around about when you think it was running good.... Other than that, stay away from the pr0n sites =)
