Things I have learnt in my short period of being a dad/male role model:
If it's quiet, that's not good.
You are on 24/7 emu bob duty, picking up after people smaller than you.
You are constantly wiping up after people smaller than you.
Sharpies are no longer for marking boxes.
The boogie man lives in the closet down the hall, and something scarier is under the bed.
Everyone is REALLY hungry, right up until dinner is served.
If you want to keep your personal possessions to yourself, invest in a safe.
If you can't find something, head down to the room at the end of the hall.
Little people also don't like potato, Maccas fries on the other hand, well they're awesome.
Little people love noise, and have no clue of how to STFU.
Little people no longer have fear of adults. I put this down to not being able to spank them. No is word they do not understand, nor care to understand.
Little people are just awesome....... when sleeping!
Privacy is not something they know anything about, locked toilet door??? Better keep knocking until someone answers, I know they're in there!!
Little people make you feel amazing, when they are scared, or hurt and need a hug to make things all better.
Little people make you feel special when, it's time to leave, and they hang on to your leg and cry 'cause they want you to stay.
Little people look so darn cute, when you are telling them off, and they are crying, and looking really sad, and those damn big beautiful brown eyes are all teary.... Must not hug, they are in trouble, awww damn it, come here ya lil lug!
It's all worth it though
