You're a Bunch of Factors

G'day,
Just got a copy of the Departed on Blu-Ray,
Put it into the play station 3 & low & behold . Nothing . says on cover Not authorized for sale or retail outside of USA & Canada.
But was ordered in Australia on e/bay from N.S.W.

Anyone else ever get this sort of thing ?

i would be complaining to the ebay seller ASAP, it is obviously from a different region so it wont work in your ps3

What benny the cunt said. FYI, Australia is region 4 for DVDs/games etc. The PS3 is region free - only for video games though.

Also, its Blu-Ray.

There's only 3 regions for Blu-Ray and we're Region B.

I'm hoping it says "Blue-ray" on the disc and it's a knockoff.

& I do know we are region 4 compatible only with Europe for Games,Dvds & blu-ray"Region 2"

Warner Blu-ray's used to be region free, and given when the Departed was released, I would have assumed this would be too.

Which of the following appears on the disc?
