The end of the trailer says May 2, 2008.

This looks awesome. Never read the Iron Man comics, but Robert Downey Jr can make anything watchable.

Villagecinemas has listed as 1st May.

got to remember we are a day ahead of US releases. So it gets released here midnight 1st may, All the Yanks get to see it that day.

Or i could be wrong. If we get to see it first awesome.

i think most places are trying to get as close to the US release as possible these days, because it limits the number of people that download it instead of going to the cinemas.

same with tv shows - remember when we used to get all the good shows a year or more after the US?

still funny when ch7 say they have their shows "fasttracked", although they are still half a season behind.

Without checking, I can tell you now that for such a high profile release as Iron Man, it'll be a worldwide (near simultaneous) release. May 2 for the US is May 1 for us Aussies.

The trailer was probably relevant for the US.
