old man Swanky: http://www.holdemmanager.net 15 day trial...
HUD needs a bit of alteration of position on 888 due to there 'auto centre' feature... Just right click and drag each players stats to near them....

OK, so the only post about actual configurations so far said they use the default for MTTs, I have only made a slight alteration.
Instead of VPIP and PFR, I use PFR and LIMP, which I find easier to read from, although providing almost exactly the same info. (on 888PL sometimes see players with 3/65 for these!) I also added Flop CBet and Fold to Flop CBet. Also Player M, coloured for the standard zones...

HU, my HUD is completely different:

VPIP and PFR are almost useless HU. As players are eithe in or out of position every hand, they do little to define ranges from each position.

BB Open Call / SB Open Raise / SB Limp / 3Bet
Flop CBet / Turn CBet
Fold to Flop Cbet / Fold to Turn Cbet / Fold to 3Bet pre

Also, like Pete I dont use a HUD all the time when playing only 1 table, but I will turn it on every now and then.
I do use it all the time when multitabling HU though...

I use PT

I use the standard settings (although the newer version is streamlined vs the older version). I prefer the older version to the newer one.

I admit that I only turn the tracker on when I am playing in tourney and cash tables of considerable value (ie....tourneys over $26 and at least $2/1

I also only listen to my reads when I have over 200 hands on a player and even then I make notes on what tourney or table i ran into them and how many hand reading i got for that tourney or table.

I know that players I am playing are also running the software, so in early stages of tourneys I distort my stats as much as possible. My advice is never only rely on the stats, you also ge4t a sick feeling when you are running into a monster, and that is before you committ your chips.....sometimes check fold is the best!! or FOLD...

my irrelevant 2c

Agree, and used to do it often. What are my stats currently saying to the rest of the table? Time to visit opposite land :D
