BeeKayEm, I was there when Brock found out (from me) that the APL State Finals is on the same day and Brock would have to be an excellent poker player to fake that kind of surprise. Brock then told Garth and he sounded quite displeased about it when I spoke to him.

I can't see why they would want to have a deliberate clash, for as you have posted, quite a number have qualified for both (me included).

The APL State Finals last time around began at 12:30 but there is a fair distance between the venues. I doubt anyone can play one, bust out of it, and get to the other except by helicopter.

We're not changing dates, and they are booked, hence why it took a few weeks to settle on a venue and date. And we deal directly with Savannah. There are things already in process and planned for this date. We won't be stopping or changing anything now.
