Hi there Garth. I thought I'd play the devils advocate
and ask you, where the hell are we gonna park our cars????? The Palais really sucks at available parking areas on weekends. Bob B

To answer your question Bob, Just north of the Palais there is a huge carpark with space for plenty of cars. We have no functions on the day so the only parkers in our general area who aren't beachgoers will be poker players. There should be ample room. Des' point is a valid one...get onto the other players in your teams and carpool it. In theory, the players who play in a particular venue will live somewhere near the venue so carpooling shouldn't be too difficult to organise. We're looking forward to seeing you all down here anyway...it'll be a great day with heaps of food and drink specials.
