a simple solution is to use a dvd recorder

i bought it a while ago (not for that purpose, i bought it to record tv), and it was about 300 bucks then - im sure you could get them for much cheaper now.

Yeah, I guess that is an option as well, but I just bought/won myself a new DVD player so don't want to buy one

Yeah, like that hurts as much as buying a 42in plasma 3 years ago for 2k that doesn't display HD

meh, I've seen a lot of sport on it. HD would be REALLY nice tho

And NO HD!

Mine were both on the ultra cheap side when they were purchased... one about 4-5 years ago and the other probably 2. Of course, it helped that I was in the computing industry and happened to be at the right place, right time... twice. Love a good bargain on electronic gear
