Added the news for Sony and my final thoughts.

Forgot the lead up announcement by Microsoft.

Xbox 360 with 60gig hard drive, and $50 off.
And if they are leading E3 with the Big Final Fantasy announcement puts it all into perspective. Why have two announcements competing, where you can have everyone talking about the big one in regards to sony.

Knew it was coming - but yeah, I did forget it. Interesting, seeing as the 360 just had a price cut here in Aus (all SKU's). I'm picking up a 360 soon, depending on the 60GB's price I might wait.

Oh one other thing. BASTARD.

Mmmmm... Diablo III. I see many, many, many, many, many countless hours of clicking and giggling.

Which brings me back to a memory... After just purchasing the second installment the day it hit SA shops I got it home, got it in and started to install. Whilst eagerly waiting for it to finish something stalled in the process. After watching it, with sheer horror, for some 5 minutes doing nothing I hit the eject button on the drive.

Imagine, if you will, the horror to see your brand spanking new disc actually fly from the drive and skid all over a bare wooden floor whilst spinning like a madman. And of course, I only watched it as the jaw hit the ground until it stopped.

Needless to say, it went back to the shop and a replacement was obtained.
