Re: BBQ's
Why do you think we have salad as bbq's??! That's only for the vegos.
I've got 3 bbq's in my shed. I usually use the one that is all hot-plate and no grill. But I don't really have steaks; just snags, onions & patties.

I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Re: BBQ's
I would never have a BBQ with just one large, or two, hotplates. I always would want a grill and a hot plate.
Get far better results for thick steaks (read: 1.5 - 3 inch thick) with a grill, after searing the beast on both sides first.
Of course, this is a personal opinion.
Add to the fact my house (until recently) was only on electricity with no gas, and my BBQ was my best friend.

Re: BBQ's
Vegetarians aren't really people.
My BBQ is a 4 burner with a wok burner on the side. Mine came with half grill and half plate, and i dont mine the grill (great for doing steaks, zuchinni, carrot, tomato, eggplant etc) but i wish that i had 3/4 plate and 1/4 grill as sometimes you need a bit of extra room on the plate. Although, like queen i use the wok burner to cook onions on occasions if the plate is going to be full.

Re: BBQ's
I was going to launch a passionate defence of the grill, but macca you just made it look absolutely GAY.
Not happy.
Not happy.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: BBQ's
Walking into this thread makes me feel less masculine because I don't own a BBQ.
