lol maybe they weren't letting him in because they had an NPL tourney there that night! LOL

Did NPL exist in Victoria at this time, or should we write to channel 9 and point out the error? Maybe it's the same bar that had Pure Blonde on tap in 1998?
Then again, it could have just been a clever product placement paid for by NPL??

i dont think NPL was around then, but who knows, they may have got someone from channel 9 to make sure that the banner was shown LOL
it was funny, i was looking at the forum at the same time as i was watching underbelly, and then i see that.

I'd say it was a product placement thing.
Like in Seinfeld, just swap Snapple with NPL game.
Seinfeld - "NPL Game?"
Virgin - "No thanks"
Ohhh and just swap Seinfeld and Virgin with Gangland murderers.
Either that makes sense, or I tells ya, I should NEVER be up this early... lol

P.S I have a TV recorder that records into the future, so i can see all of the underbelly shows now
