Goodbye Powderfinger.

Ok it has been announced for a little while now, but Powderfinger have announced that their upcoming tour, will be their last as a band, and that their most recent album "Golden Rule" will also be their last. I for one will be lining up to make sure i get tickets to their last concert at Memorial Drive, as they have been my favourite band for a fair while now. They did mention in their press conference that they still have some commitments to their record company Universal, but one would assume this might include a 'best of' album, or perhaps a live dvd of their last concert.
Can't wait for their concert now.

Tickets go on sale 28th April @ 9am , Jet is support act
Thursday 16 September - Memorial Drive, Adelaide .
*wonders if GF will be the following weekend ?
