tell us about bands you are going to see, have seen, would like to come to adelaide, etc etc.

my taste for live music has been invigorated since i have been to powderfinger and birds of tokyo in the last week.

are there any fans out there of Ed Kowalczyk? he is coming to the thebby in november. im not sure if any of my mates will go with me. any other live/Ed fans out there?

i am also thinking of going to the big day out this year, even though i am not sure who is playing, as i have never been before.

looking at the venuetix website, boy and bear, children collide, lior are also playing soon.

crowded house and clare bowditch at a day on the green would be cool too.

I read Blink-182 is this year's headline of BDO.

Powderfinger in a month.

I'm really not one for live concerts. Dunno why, probably the crowds.

Only bands I regret not seeing when here are Metallica & Arctic Monkeys (A mate had tickets for them before they hit the radio scene, and by the time I decided to go the Nova tweenies had bought all the tickets)

this was the only problem with seeng BoT now as opposed to a year ago - there were quite a few of these kiddies there, with their mums standing over by the side of the venue :P

Haven't got time give my full run down now (I'll be back), but one of my best live music experiences was 2nd row, Pixies @ the Music Bowl..........AMAZING!!

When I was 16, Pearl Jam played the Myer Music Bowl. A bunch of us caught the train in to sit on the outside and listen. Just as the concert started a bunch of people charged at the fence in front of us, in a split second we all jumped up and ran. We were in!! Got right down to the front section, was amazing!

Around the same time I saw NOFX and I will always remember that concert, it was my first and only stage dive.

Some of my favourites have been Groove Armada, Chemical Brothers, Kings of Leon, Lupe Fiasco (twice, awesome both times), Muse, Silversun Pickups, Silverchair (when they were teenagers @ Dromana Drive in in the early 90's), Hilltop Hoods and as mentioned above The Pixies.

Big Day out over the years has had some greatness for me.... Basement Jaxx, TOOL, Lily Allen, Garbage, Jurrasic 5, The Killers. I missed Rage Against the Machine as I had to sell my ticket at the last minute due to having to go into hospital. I was shattered!

One suprise over the years has been Kanye West. I got the husband a ticket as he is a big fan and went along with him. At $150 ticket, I expected disapointment. I thought Kanye would play for 40 mins or so. Nooooooo, 2 1/2 solid ours later, the man did not want to leave the stage. he really put on a show.

Another special mention is last years Bliss n Eso (Flying Colours tour) concert at Festival Hall. OMG, what a show. One of my all time favourite gigs!

I love music!!

I have seen in Melb , I'll go from 89 .

Metallica , Megadeth , Sepultura ,Morbid Angel , Fear Factory , Machine Head , Nile , The Haunted , Slayer , EXODUS & going to see them again on sunday , Suffocation +( scored 1 of their autographed picks :D ) , Dismember "I had members of the last 3 bands sign my leather jacket :D :D :D " Kreator "guitarist signed my denim near their patch" , will think of more that i've seen .
Cannibal Corpse , Cradle of Filth , Carcass

as you can see i'm mostly into slow passive music

I always wanted to see Concrete blonde " but none of my m8's would ever go
Victor Borge wow that surprised me very funny man whilst being a great classic Pianist but i was 8 or 9

the most i had paid to see a band/bands was $55.00 , the next Metallica & Soundwave festival over $ 180.00 each :o

p.s, would love to see Vivaldi's 4 seasons preformed live
