You're a Bunch of Factors

Anyone manage to catch this last night? I thought it was awesome. It was faithful enough to the Terminator movies (ok, so the time travel bit at the end of the pilot totally screws with T3's story, but this ain't technically canonical), yet broke enough new ground to establish itself as more than a simple spin off/cash in. This is Terminator, re-injected for 2007 (you got to admit, the movie's were getting kinda stale).

I was very pleased with everything the show had to offer - action sequences, writing and acting (I don't care what anyone says, Lena Headley does a great job as Sarah Connor).

Plot: Prompted by the return of Terminators into their lives, Sarah and John decide to stop running and focus on stopping the creation of Skynet. They are aided by Cameron, a Terminator who poses as a female student at John's school and whose mission is to protect John. Meanwhile, FBI Agent James Ellison pursues Sarah and John with the belief that Sarah is deranged.

So yes, Aaron is in love with the Sarah Connor Chronicles Its being encored tonight at 10.30pm, Channel 9, so check it out.

Uncertain what kind of reception it will find in the USA though. Farscape, Jericho, e.t.c

Good shows, but got screwed over in ratings due to certain popular "Reality" shows.


Watched last nights, hoping for a bit more development than the flight mentatility all the time. Also praying that there isn't this and then..... a terminator reprogrammed from the future saves them again.

Will see how it goes.

(Ratings grabbed from Wiki...) 5 episodes have been screened so far and (Monday's ratings pending) 4 have finished 3rd or higher for that timeslot. For the night, all four episodes have finished 4th or higher. For the week, the pilot finished 1st, 21, 26, TBA, TBA. So its looking pretty good so far.

And Farscape was awesome, I was so disappointed it ended

Yeah, definitely. The producers said they wanted to move away from a "Terminator Of the Week" setup. I'm hopeful it'll be more than that too - but that really is the core of the Terminator series, Sarah and John running away from death. I like them attacking SkyNet, differs from the movies, but don't expect things to change for the next few eps.

You haven't seen all episodes yet? What the hell are you fellas using your PC's for?
