Is Foxtel worth it?

For $100 per month for the maximum package, is it really worth it?

only need it for sport including poker - the rest is just not worth it

I'd only get it for sport, fox 8 and TV1. Dont need the movies

Depends who you are.
Best to try it out and see what you think.
I watch a lot of sport - with the footy etc, as well as poker. There's a lot of shows on there too which I like.
Movies aren't bad.
Comedy can be good.
The missus watches a lot of the lifestyle/family type shows so she enjoys that.

crank up your net quota, and download all the shows from the US that you want

also, for poker, try

If I get Fox, I'm probably not gonna play NPL though. Or as often.
The missus is worried if we get it, we won't talk as much. Hence why I want it.....

PokerTube is awesome, cleans up my 20gig quote quite easily lol
I was going to consider getting foxtel, but now Ch10 HD is going to be showing NFL i might stick with free to air for a while longer.

I'm also a huge cricket fan - so it's great watching test matches from all over the world (NZ/Eng at the moment for example).. and they are on at all hours (depending where they are)
