rumours are that he will take the west coast job next year -if thats the case, i think they will give primus the caretaker role instead of laidley.

Primus lives in Melbourne. He commutes for game day.

Laidley is from the West, will go back there. He'll be the interim coach for the rest of the year though.

Read that Brenton Sanderson is a chance.

They really need an 'outsider', with no Port ties. Garry Lyon anyone?

This is what i have heard too, but that was far from guaranteed. If he is offered a senior job now though it will be interesting to see what happens.

Don't you have to give your employer minimum 2 weeks notice to leave full time work ?

Well Port Shouldn't have any money problems now. When I was doing some work with the club a while back I heard there was a large sum of money left for the club by Mr Scott and it was only to be released once chocco was pushed out!
