careers like mark taylor and geoff marsh all ended around the age of 34/35 because me younger players scoring runs in the Shield.. Marsh was averaging 26 from his last 20 innings.. Taylor was more, but only cos of his 334*, which was made under pressure of calls of retiring him.

Forget what Hayden has done... What is he doing now, and where is the team heading? Do we want 4 experienced players retiring at the same time again??! Stagger them, and we've got cover for hayden

and Hayden is so arrogant he would never step down, they will have to sack him before he leaves

umm this is about cricket Des

was hoping u could have a constructive argument on a sport you play and are actually good at

How many more chances do u think Hayden should get? i dont say drop him now but its not hard to see he's past his best, every innings he tries to smash the ball all over the park, where did the Hayden go where he used to work his way into an innings

umm he got out from a good ball and was caught behind the wicket playing a standard cricket shot

the 3 boundaries he scored were from shots along the ground as far as i know - i dont have tv at work, just going on the text commentary

ponting and hussey also failed - so its just not being out of form, Sth Africa were bowling well!

in all honesty... the selectors will give him until the end of the 2nd test (maybe the 3rd) for him to get back on the horse

tip of the series... ponting to miss 2nd or 3rd test due to injury and they'll bring in someone to have a game, maybe Klinger if he has put up another 100 by then

I do say drop him now! You really think he is going to do any good in England next year? Not likely!

I've got a favour to ask everyone - normally I'd look these things up myself, but I'm not really at lesuire to do so :D

Could someone post (or better yet, PM me) a link to radio commentry that I can access from outside Australia? The Grandstand one appears to limit access to Australian IPs only. Would be much appreciated!
