The "Redbacks" are in that cycle, though the current players aren't really.

seems to run deeper than the current crop of players

except for the odd one day final, it has happened like this for the past 10 years - bottom for the first half of the season, win a couple of games and finish 4th

hopefully things are starting to change around

good start in the hat-trick chase.

Tigers are 7/105 after 40 overs. Cleary has 5fa!! G Bailey is still in with 52. Knock him off, and we'll be in soon :-) get C Bailey bowling ;-)

SA always seems to have trouble wrapping up the tail cheaply though

tas were 7/82, now 7/146

still, on the adelaide over which we can only assume is a "normal" adelaide pitch since SA played bailey and not haberfield, it still sounds like a good effort

Ahhh, it happens.

Just like a team can be 3/250 and be all out for 300.. or something. Cricket is like that. Just because you get a team into a position doesn't mean their fight can't get you out of it..

Isn't great, but it happens.

Why pick Cullen Bailey if you arent going to bowl him? I dont rate him as a spinner, however picking a guy who is batting 10, and only bowling him for 11 overs is just plain stupid.

Meanwhile I've been sucked back into playing cricket again...

1 game before finals too... hopefully will try to improve on my 353 runs @ 58.8 in 5 matches (6 innings)

i doubt many spinners would bowl much more than 10-15 overs in the first innings of a game

especially when your pace attack has just ripped through them and got them 7 for not many - why wouldn't you stick with them?

if this was day 3 or 4, then fair enough.
