I hadn't actually thought that thru, but I'm def more interested in following red backs in T20 than the australian national side.

I also found the Champions trophy(club based one) to be ever so slightly engaging in india late last year, where as the international one earlier in the year was CRAP!

Does anyone know what the arrangements for Pollard etc are if SA make the finals and go to the play offs? Surely some of these guys play for 2 teams? ie. Redbacks and an IPL team

The player will nominate which team they qualify for.

Yeah Bacon is right. Im pretty sure afridi doesn't yet have a team but if pollard's trinidad and tobago make it again then he will probably play for them. Having said that, when/if the redbacks make the domestic t20 final then afridi will not be available due to one day committments with the paki's.

redbacks should get an outright win here for certain (only need 94 in the last innings to win), keeping us in touch with the top two. go go go...

I know it sucks that we lost Harris.. but how much has Christian grown since being here.

A 70 odd with the bat, and 9 wickets
He has saved us in more than one game this season.

Looks awkward, but gets the job done.

better batsman than harris by a long way, and seems to be improving with the ball as well.

still doesn't look like a front line seamer when he bowls though, more like a quickish medium pacer, but as you say, you can't argue with his results lately. good on him

pretty sure harris still has more shield runs this season than christian anyway, but meh.

strange that christian has not even been mentioned for the Aussie one day side. moses henriques can go suck a dick, i'd prefer christian anyday...

They did throw his name up during a lengthy discussion on future Australian one day and Twenty20 squads on ABC radio last week.

Ryan Harris, not Daniel Harris.
