I was reading in the Advertiser how "longevity" may be a problem (injuries) and the nitwit writer compared Hewitt to Nadal and said they were at similiar stages in their career, before injuries finally took their toll on Lley-ley. I choked on my drink and some shot out my nose when i read that! What a TOOL! :P

lleyton was number 1 in the world for a full year, and he was the youngest to ever achieve this

he also won 2 majors

and they play a similar game style

so they are more similar than you think - yes nadal is a better player, but hewitt could have been similar if he didn't get injured and go and knock up some soapie actor :D

Im still convinced that she's really his twin sister, i mean, she's him with a wig! :?

I'm not even gonna bother with re-butting the Nadal/Hewitt comparison, its just silly. :)

Yeah that was a pretty dodgy article.

Jo-wilfired tsonga, gilles simon, juan martin del-potro, jose acasuso, gael monfils, novak djokovic, andy murray, fernando verasco, janko tipsaravic, tomas berdych and stanislas wawrinka are players in their early to mid twenties. I suppose ALL of these players will also become washed out hacks by the time they are 28 as "injuries take their toll".

maybe i should have become a sports journalist. (i wanted to for a time before i became a teacher).
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

Yes that was basically what the writer was saying, that their style of game takes it toll on your body.
