i have been refreshing the afl website, kind of dreading that this would happen.

kind of sad, i am a big supporter of neil craig, but after friday night, i dont think there was any alternative for him to leave some time between now and the end of the season.

great servant of the club, unlucky not to take the crows to a grand final.

Yeah, I'm a bombers fan, but huge soft spot for the crows (just loved the premierships) and I just can't see them getting anyone better in the short-medium term.

Clarkson is the only one with a good enough record, and not like he';ll come back.

heard roos on the radio the other day, and he sounded pretty adamant he wouldn't coach again, but then again that was before the crows job opened up. they should move heaven and earth to get clarkson, apparently john elliot is hesitant on signing him at this early stage, so if they dont make at least a prelim final, it is at least possible that he could come back.

i just hope they get someone from outside, i really don't want bickley to get it, for some reason i just think it will be more of the same with him. scott burns or sanderson look like good options.

I can see him in some sort of football director role. I think craig is very good at man management and i think this role will suit him. if he is to stay at the club though, i think an outside coach is needed - if bickley is appointed with craig still on staff, it's will kind of be more of the same
