Can anyone that watched the game give a recap? Did the Pies play REALLY bad, or the Cats too good? etc etc. At any rate, bodes well for the Eagles next week!

Listened more than watched, but cats blew them away in second term, came out and slotted the first two of the third and then the pies "gave up" and it came a bit of a farce with both teams trying to avoid injury.

Knew this last week, he just couldn't announce it cos it's against the rules or something, he had to wait until the end of the season to formally announce it.
Good luck to him, cant blame him for taking it, anyone else would.

Yeah everyone basically knew it.
I don't think there are rules as such - Davis came out and said it too - though not that he'd "signed" but was going to go there. Nothing stopping anyone doing that.

yeah but that kind of makes a farce of the rules that you couldn't sign mid season, because its obvious that there was some sort of deal in place with davis, even though he was not allowed to sign anything
