Just got one thing to say
Go Phillies
Thats for Garth
But to be fair, hope its a good NLCS. Otherwise, i am going to be chuffed that LA Beat Arizona for the west in the last week of the season, and then couldn't get Manny anything to do against the Phillies.
In the AL, talk about upsets at the moment. Tampa 2 - 1 against the Chicago White Sox, and you have Boston 2 - 1 against LA Angels (California or Anaheim depending on how old school you are)
Would like to see Tampa get into the ALCS, but might be tough against the Chicago White Sox, 2 years ago they took it all out.
Boston and LA should be good games to watch, Think i am going to go with LA i got a feeling there is a rally monkey revival in the air.
Either way this last month has been a good read. When i am in a different state, one year i am going to have foxtel and be rostered off for all the important stuff.
So if anyone wants tips. For the faithful, Phillies win in game 6 with a 9th inning homerun Joe Carter style.

Damn why do i have to work.
Game 4 LA vs Boston.
Torii Hunter hits a two out two run to tie it up. Over under on 11 innings again.
Rally Monkey time.
Game 4 Tampa vs Chicago White Sox
Tampa through to the ALCS, First visit to post season already to the second round.

Think dodgers will take it. Had the best turnaround of the season, plus the offense of Manny has lifted them huge.
Tampa will have to look at their rosters first before making a decision.

Phillies up in the NLCS 2-0
Seem to get behind and come back in the games. Getting a little excited.
Travelling back to LA where they are 0 wins for the year against the dodgers. But its postseason, regular season just doesn't count. Ask the red sox.
ALCS
Redsox and Tampa, Redsox up 1 game. Game 2 being hotly contested.
Tied for most home runs in a single game (7) so far. Definitely a hitting game, pitchers being swapped over and around. Everyone has been getting touched up.
So far should be split before heading back to Boston and the Green Monster.

But regular season Bostong was 1-11 at Tropicana Field in Tampa, so to have 1 game up through the pitching of Dice K, and also some good offense production helped them in that game.
Now that both offenses are firing on most cylinders. Expect the games at Boston to be good fun.
Still thinking Tampa in 6 though. Dodgers in 7 or Phillies in 5.

Philly Looks good, but going into LA with a reg season record of 0-10. Even statisticians say that is fairly ominous.
With the pitching they have, it should become interesting. Plus Manny is still putting on the runs, even though Philly has been putting on just a little bit more. If LA gets a good batting game in the next two, it should be a close series rather than the current 2-0 scoreline shows.
As for Boston - Tampa, If Boston splits going back home. Then they will probably be going 3-2 (2-1 series at home) back to Tampa. Depending on the Game 6 and 7 pitcher match ups. It is going to be tough.
Until it becomes 3-0 Anything can happen. And usually does.
Cough* Arizona Cough Cough 2001, Awesome cough.

Literally went through 3 full series of 5 games, 7 games, 7games.
Always good to have Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling in the lineup though.

Bruce
Please don't bring that up. Garth was Shattered. Once he started jumping up and down going round 1st base, was a sickening moment. Think every phillies fan curses that day. Doesn't help when they had a picture have a brain fart in Mitch Williams.
I had my own during the Arizona run in the world series, 2 straight games of a yankee players lighting up Kim in games 5 and 6
But the Luis Gonzales single into shallow centre, to get the winning run. All worth it.
