Play about to get underway. India won the toss and will bat first.
For India, Harbhajan is out, and for Australia, Stuart Clark comes back into the side to replace Siddle.
My prediction: India to score 544 in their first innings.

Just saw that - but I still stand by my prediction ...
(Which is, of course, a classic pessimist's prediction - if we knock them over cheaply, I'll be stoked ... if they make something in the vicinity of 500, well, I predicted it

)

the value of stuart clark is being felt at the moment - 7 overs for 5 runs, means they have to try and hit out at lee and johnson at the other end.
he has definitely stepped into glenn mcgrath's shoes rather nicely.
now for someone to step into warnies...

as much as i hate too say it, thats never going to happen mate, there will only ever be 1 shane warne, we may never see his likeness again.
To say otherwise would be like saying we will se another batsmen like bradman, just not gona happen.

ok, gimme stuart macgill or tim may then

surely there are better spin options in the country than cam white, he bowls medium pacers.
surely cullen bailey needs to go to another state where he can get a regular bowl at first class level
