Honestly, it will all come down on Rollins and his predictions on the Jay Leno show. Here is hoping for a phillies comeback though.

Unfortunately the phillies had answers for 4 of the yankees line up.

The ones they didn't have answers include Jeter, A-Rod, Matsui. Caused the most damager.

Jeter has been phenomenal in lead off and Matsui has just been playing havoc. And A rod, whilst he hasn't smashed homers of the phillies, he has still been productive.

Phillies, Howards bat was quiet, Utley has been like god, Werth has been playing well, but pitching has been shaky, Lee has been great, Pedro has had no run support, Hamels is shaky and mentally drained after last years efforts. Then through the bullpen it has been hairy expect Madson to be in a better position next year. Lidge whilst ok, has dropped from Stellar last year. Expect him to be rested for a while also.

Honestly expect the phillies to run good again next year. If their pitching works itself out, the batters will follow suit and will be another force again.
