Warning! We're talking about the recently completed Superbowl in here. If you don't to know the score, leave now.

Wow, wow, wow. That was amazing.

I missed last year's Superbowl, I didn't wake up in time, and had to settle for the replay at 5pm. Which was cut to f*ck (10 minutes was missing from the 3rd quarter for christ sakes!), and basically a highlights reel.

I wasn't missing it this year, and while I was dead tired in the morning (game kicked off at 10am, I was going on less than 4 hours sleep), I'm glad I pushed on because that was one of the best sporting events I've seen in a while.

I wasn't necessarily supporting one team, but as the game went on I wanted the Giants to win. However, part of me was hoping the Patriots could get that perfect season - but then I wanted Eli Manning to step up. Yeah, I seesawed a lot :)

Post 2nd quarter though, I was reborn as a full blown Giants fan.

ANYWAY, back to the game. It may have lasted for 4 hours, but damn, was it thrilling. Eli Manning's break away and 45 yard pass to Tyrel at 3rd down with 30 seconds to go... the stuff of legend. Amazing.

What'd y'all think of the game?

Oh yeah, oops.

The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14.

Bob: Sorry buddy, but yeah pretty self explanatory. Don't venture into a thread on the just completed Superbowl if you don't want to know the score.

Its not really a replay, anyway. Just a highlights reel - I watched last years. They'll show the two highlights from the first half (when both teams scored) and that'll be it (from the first half). Its nowhere near the same experience as watching the game completely.

I'm going to stick up for Bob here, the title only says Superbowl and not something like "Superbowl *spoilers*".

For all he or anyone else knew (that hadn't bothered to check the dates/times...and who the heck does?) you guys could just have been having a chinwag about it and who u thought was going to win blah blah blah.

In short, if it's a sports event that's already been and gone.. PLEASE put something like (spoilers) in the topic title. Then it can't be your fault you see? :)
