Old threads should never be deleted (barring multiple threads on the same topic, locked threads).

Unless you're desperately needing space, threads that don't see replies in a while are always kept - in their respective regions, or archived.

Its how every forum works.

Edit: Alternatively benny the cunt, every time you login one could hit "view new posts." It contains every new post since their last visit.

Agreed, 'view new posts' is the first thing I open up.

Delete Cougers posts and there will be plenty of room then. It will make room for more meaningful Posts and comments then LOL

I open view your posts, then view new posts, then see if there's anything left in active posts and if I'm still bored I look at the unanswered posts. And if I'm really bored I do what I'm doing "NOW" LOL

And if I'm really, really, really bored I read Cougers or Bacons posts

me too !!.....old threads do contain relavent material ...new members may find some info of help eg venue reviews/photos of players ...humor [ love the new ' three word thread..inovative ].
most old threads could be housekept to a more suitable spot say once a month.

As soon as Cougar edits his sig, I might actually listen to his suggestions.

Until then, what Beny said is very true. It's also been said before here and if it's showing as an old post then it's been read before too..... fancy that.

Locking this thread, all part of the cleanup process :P
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!
