Thursday Night in Adelaide

Postby gundog » Fri Oct 17, 2008 8:58 am

Thursday night in Adelaide where to play first thought was the PHCC or Settlers, after a short mental boxing match of where to play, I decided to play the Kingy at Gawler.

A big noisy crowd but no wonder buy 1 drink and you get your cards full stamped, B&G's are spoilt.

Just prior to the 2nd break we had a player transfered to our table, this individual proceed to pick on marino_1251 about his poker not improving because he likes to drink plenty of amber fluid, from where I stood it was suggested the Marino was a fair target who am I to argue.

After the 2nd break the player who thought he was the poker god lost all my respect not knowing who or what his rep was, a player places a preflop raise of 4000 and this spanner pushes allin with 13000, and get called by the chip leader Doh and then he turns over 10/9, and he had the gall to pick on Marino.

My night I ended up 6th after blowing my 1st 1000 on the first hand of the night, after the Kingy a quick run to West Thebby where I finished 11th

There's nothing wrong with 10 9.

It's fantastic.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I'm not too fond of 89s this week, but Pete is right, T9 is a gun hand

Scotty typical response from a city slicker what a few K's,we were staying in Pooraka so I was in between. gee for me to play a 2nd venue at home its at least a 90k round trip, so Gawler to Thebby is just around the corner for me.

Marino_1251 by popular vote add a blue hat and yes you are " Dicky Knee's " love child.

Where were you last night benny the cunt, I was expecting to see you at the Kingy.

My attendance would surely have raised the quality of player for the kingy

Pooraka --> Kingsford --> West Thebby --> Pooraka was the trek?
