pity i prolly wont make any of the games that require qualification!!

questions

1. in the cash buyn games, what are the passports worth in chips/rebuys?

2. how long is the rebuy period for the friday night game? is there a single/double addon at the end of the rebuy period? is it unlimited rebuys up to then?

3. for the partners event, is that 20 bucks per pair or each? (i assume it will be per pair, just thought id check)

1.) Start stack will be 2000, rebuys (both passports and cash) will equal 2000, add-ons will equal 4,000 in chips (red passports or $20).

2.) a.) Rebuy period will last for one hour.
b.) Red passports will equate to a double add on, a single add on can be bought for $10 or a double add on for $20.
c.) Unlimited rebuys yes. Should be a pumped up prize pool.

3.) $20 per team. SO it will work out to $12.50 each. Passports will be used for this event but there will be no cash re buys.

Any other questions?

Question about the Friday night rebuy tournament....

When we rebuy/addon with cash does that cash go to the prize pool as per a standard rebuy/addon tourney?

Similarly, what happens if we rebuy/addon using stamp cards? Does that then mean the money spent filling those up does NOT go into the prize pool? Not to mention it's probably going to be cheaper to just fork out the cash :)
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

why has there been no response to this question.
if you receive chips in return for stamped up cards(monies spent at the bar)all that money spent would legally have to be returned to the prize pool. The law clearly states that no third party can profit from the game itself.Different in a freeroll event because there is no outlay of cash.Otherwise the venue itself would be considered in the eyes of the law to be taking a rake you couldnt have some ppl paying $10 cash and others getting the same amount of chips for a double scotch and coke.im sure this is not the case but i would also be interested in the npl response to this question.

Well Linda, I would suggest that you seek legal independent advice, or if you have already a second opinion.

And as someone who is now in competition with any operator that runs CBI events, of course you would interested in a response.

If you need help with any grey areas, you still have my email address. Feel free to drop me a line.

so the thing being played for staked or wagered is what?
is it the total amount of buy ins + cash re buys
excluding stamped card rebuys?
i actually wanted to play the event myself and wanted to know what im actually playing for
surely if 100 ppl rock up to this event buy in for 10 bucks and
50 of those re buy using cash
50 players use stamp cards(which have a monetary value in comparison to chips received by players who have paid for their re buy)
would the prize pool be $1500 or $2000?
not busting balls just wanted a clear response
