as far as i know... the 2 seats at the brighton were to the Vegas freeroll being run by the hotels owners... not the NPL

i think the top 5 still get into the state finals

If a venue runs for part of a season (let's assume they've only just come onboard and signed up to the NPL) then how harsh would it be to say to them 'oh yeah.. it'll be hard to attract any players because they can't even qualify for finals here - you'll be better off next season though!' ???


It's fair to say all the venues should be able to promote the same minimum things to their potential customers.

If this is the case... that someone finishing 20th at that venue gets bumped up to 5th and gets a state final ticket then i personally think the current system needs to be looked at... THATS A JOKE! the other joke is giving 10 seats to the state final after playing a 2 week season at the tonsley hotel.. THATS A BIGGER JOKE! You might aswell get random volunteers giving npl final state tickets out on rundle mall.. sorry if this offends any particular person but i have to say it again.. WHAT A FUKN JOKE! why did they only give 2 tickets away at brighton metro ladies tournaments??? that was a longer season that the 2 weeks at tonsley and they gave 10 seats away... 1 more time for the record... BUNCH OF CLOWNS!

I would check your facts before having a rant of this nature.
Ladies day does have the top 5 qualify for the State Finals, what you have heard is that the top 2 there qualify for the Vegas promo, which is fair enough seen that it never once got over 20 runners and it was the same handful of people playing week in and week out.
We didn't give ten seats away at Tonsley, it remained the top 5 to qualify, but it was simply a two week season for them. The reasons why for this are quite simple: to see the popularity of an opportunity for players to qualify in the last fortnight of a season and also to give some promotion (drawcard) for two events starting in difficult time slots in two varied regions. There are more reasons but I do not see the need to justify them here.

Now who exactly are the "BUNCH OF CLOWNS"?
