:) Ok I'm quite new at this posting thingy so hope I'm doing it right....I just want to say congrats to Matt, Luke and Ash and all who made the final table, also to Garth, Annabell and all involved at making the Berri DEEP stack tourney such a successful event - I had the best time and hope it will become an annual event - the format was great. THANKS FOR THE MEMORRIES...CHEERS

Just seat numbers would do.....

rcon (ROCKford) says: it was 299 people in the end.

but that doesn't matter - it was still an awesome effort by Luke.

Pretty much THE BEST WEEKEND ever.

First of all, huge thanks to the Resort and NPL/NPL Staff for putting on a great weekend. No hiccups at all.

I had a great weekend, and finished about 50th from 299 - pleased with that, but not how I went out. I put my chips in with the best hand (on the flop) but he hit one of his 8 outs for a straight. In the end it was the right call to make (knew I was ahead) but I could've waited for a better place to throw ALL my chips into the pot. Trips, a straight, etc.

Anyway, awesome time, and I'm so coming back next year. Great to meet a few forum users - Bacon, jamo, rcon... the list goes on.

And getting absolutely smashed Sat night was a highlight :D

Big ups to NPL!

Edit: Almost forget, WELL DONE TO MATTY for taking it out. I know him!! Woo. And that final table... awesome. As everyone has said, there was some great play, especially from Ash (who got very unlucky, being rivered twice) and Luke (best on the table, I thought). It was a pleasure to watch.

Was an awesome weekend with a sour end.

Firstly i havent had such a good weekend for a long time, sat nigh (or what i can remember) was fun and theres something about 300 poker players in the same place that just works!

secondly both the tournements were great fun! and i think will be a hit for years to come! and only get better, i dont know if they intended only having 22 left after day 1 but maybe the blinds will be even more relaxed next time, which will be great! and less antes? XD we can all hope. And when i got out and won $140 in the pokies off $1 i considered that a cash finnish for my weekend :P!

But the sour part of the weekend didnt happen till we got back to adelaide where 3 of us, (warren Michael and Jeremy from brighton etc..*) got into a car crash, we survived but a bit beaten up :(. was a bit lame though

hope to catch you all around the south! when we are back and moving enough.

oh and nice work luke! though everyone has been saying it! you owe me a drink this sat at lacrosse :P

lol...

Poor Matty

Just so the story is clear.... When Mattys broadway straight was smashed, it was his huge 17k ALL-IN (in the second blind level 50/100) that got him done! He was unlucky enough to find himself betting in to some one that was holding the nut full house! hehe.

But anyway!

WELL DONE ALL, HAD A BLAST WORKING THIS WEEKEND!

Regards
