It certainly does!

Love hearing really positive things like this about venues, keep up the good work guys.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

am i missing something?

why are they only getting 20 runners, when everywhere else in the region gets 40+ except for the sunday arvo game?

i am not saying that tanunda is bad, just wondering why this is the case.

annabelle might know, what is traditionally the quietest night for NPL? i would guess it is probably tuesday or sunday

(PS i have not been to the tanunda, but i am looking at going there to check it out in the next couple of weeks)

benny the cunt, according to Matt, most of the players that play at Tanunda do the afternoon shift (at work) one week and evening the next. The Tues just gone was the afternoon shift. Still doesn't explain why they're getting such small numbers, though.

another aspect to consider guys as to the numbers is. Tuesday night clashes with football training for every club in the area. Numbers took a decline as soon as the season commenced.

I beleive that there is a strong possibility that a bus load of riverland players will make a visit to tanunda at the end of the month.

I'm in along with about 30 other Waikerie players hope to have more info tonight.
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Tanunda was my regular weekly venue over summer and has always been one of the better ones locally as far as prizes and promotions went.

Matt is correct in saying that footy training clashes on Tuesday nights (I still don't know how the Kingy gets so many on Thursdays).

I stopped playing midway through season 1 2008 (running 2nd at the time) to go to footy training, but I intend to start playing regularly again when footy season is over as it's one of my favourite venues (and just across the road from work).

I have been to the Tanunda the last two wekks and can only say that it is a quality venue. I (especially tonight) walked out with so many prizes I could barely stand. Hats, watches, shirts, free drinks, key rings, stubbies, and a lot of other stuff all make up the prize pool.

This is on top of the venue voucher and the normal npl prizes for final table.

As for the venue, the food is great, the service is friendly, heck I can't really think of a down side to the venue. Seems pretty good to me. If it was closet to home I would go every week. Maybe I should ask them to move the pub a little closer LOL. The boss of the place also plays poker and seems like a decent all round guy, talking to the players during the breaks.

And as for this Bruce, I would like to state that we are not AK's entourage. Our group is called the Shreky Experience featuring JD. So he is actually part of our groupy/stalker group that hangs around myself and JD hoping some of the poker playing ability will rub off.

Seeing is believing... Seeing you make those considered plays while JD watches on from behind, giving AK something to write about on the forum .. it truly is an Experience some may call it a "Flash in a Pan, others "luck" but as your signature states ' if you have got 'it' use it ... cu you' all next week ,,, Bring that " NPL carry bag " you won against " Karl the Good Bloke " It should be very helpful you in carrying off some more of those prestegious Tanunda give aways

signed...the winner of a lovely tee shirt for getting his Pocket Aces taken down by a 8 high straight that flopped. ..[the red one you won will make AK very happy for Christmas] :o  :D  ;)
