Should be a great weekend of Poker at the Port Club, really looking forward too the Teams Event...,

As long as I dont get, and lose on AK in consecutive hands like at the last FTT, I'll be happy!, and the Foundation Semi (If I make it that is)

you didn't specify this in your first post. it read like you meant it was like a nightly game.

also, pretty much every big game i have been in has had the structure tweaked a bit, so i am guessing this will be the same

No, I didnt, but given this thread about the Semis I assumed people would know I wasnt talkin about the nightly away game structure...

Garth: Structure looks good, especially high Ante:SB ratio levels. Dont remember playin one with so many levels at 1:4! Fun times :)

ALK: It is quickish, but its gotta finish in 1 day, and with T15K to start...

that is pretty close to their standard structure, antes included. anywhere between 1/4 and 1/5 of the bb is standard.

it might be slightly faster than the foundation semi final because of the larger stacks, but its not that much different.

and that 2k/4k/500 level has been in every npl/888pl large tourney i have played in.

The blind structures for each Semi Final (Foundation and Challenge) are exactly the same, both have 25 minute blind level just the start stack is changed.

Also the Foundation semi will have 400 runners and the Challenge approx 150.

They're the differences. I actually quite like the structures presented here and believe they are the best we have issued thus far for these events. Apart from the Grand Final.

Yes, but there are some levels of 1/6 SB (sometimes less at the FTT events) and there is usually only 1 level (that 1 can remember) of 1/4 the SB...

Really ? only 400

I thought i would be more than that with the existing old system numbers + extras that have qualified from the on line system.
I mean i think we started with 407 last state finals ( benny the cunt's tourney)
I just imajined numbers of 5 or 600 due to the influx of online qualifiers.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

dont forget that in previous seasons, there was only 1 final, for both challenge and foundation games krunchie. and that the online qualification is split between victoria and south australia.

Does that means possibly more than top 5 from Challenge series home games will qualify?
Not that it matters to me, I am in top 5 in more than one, but if they are separating SA/Vic for the challenge Semi (I never really thought about it before, but sounds right) does that mean only top 5 qualify, maybe 2 from Vic and 3 from SA or however it works out or top 5 from each state?
