I'd just like to throw out an extra special thanks to everyone who's taken the time to come online, check out the forum and not only introduce themselves but to also get involved in the friendly banter.

It's great to see the NPL and it's players supporting the forum and with the numbers of registered users now at the 45 mark, I'm very happy to be a part of it all. All of the venue reviews and photos have made me keen to venture out to a few of the other venues that I don't regularly visit just to meet and play with some of you guys (or gals!).

Once again, thanks all and keep on posting us your worst beats and greatest wins!

G'day everybody, I'm Johnny K.

Been playing poker alittle under 2 years. Got hooked on the game after watching Joe Hachem take out the 2005 Main Event. Before NPL hit SA i played all my Tournaments online, but now playing live with the NPL has improved my game alot!

The Venues i play at this season are Pooraka F.C and Parafield Gardens. Last season i won 2 tournaments and made numerous final tables getting me a spot in the NPL State Finals with a fith place finish at Roulettes Tavern. I usually hit the venues with my unlce David Gapper(Gapps).

A BIG thumbs up to the creators of these forums. Keep up the good work.

Hi my name is Sabino. I have a gambling problem.

When ever i get pocket aces, kings or queens and i go all in i lose to a flush on the river. Such an unfair game

My most recent loss was pocket aces all in with 15000 and called by 2-5 off suit and lost to a 4 card flush.

Hi, my name is Rayni, i have been playing for about 5 months on line, shortly there after with a push from my other half i started playing NPL and haven't looked back since. I average about 5 games a week with my favorite venue being the Windsor gardens hotel on the Monday nights.

I managed to gain a seat into the Aussie Millions where i came 39th out of the first flight. The experience was great and i would love to do it again. The quality of play was far better & i found it to be the most smoothly run tournament to date.

Congrats to all those who organized the day, and to the TD thank you for making it a great experience.... (p.s. where are the pics?)
