This is how i went out of the deepstack.
Blinds were 1500/3000, my stack 21k, SB's stack 150k +
im BB holding

One caller around to the sb who also completes, and we see a flop
Flop comes

SB checks, i bet 6 grand. The caller folds.
SB, who is the big stack on the table, thinks about it for ages, and says umm yeah ill call - hints of massive weakness here (or a reverse tell - but i didn't think this player was capable of that).
Turn comes
![[5h]](./images/smilies/cards/5h.png)
giving me the nut flush draw, straight draw.
I bet 8k this time, at which point the big blind puts me all in.
What the hell did he have?
I went into the tank. Thinking about this hand in more detail then i have ever though about a hand in my life.
The big stack was super aggressive, showing numerous bluffs, he could have air, he could have flopped a boat.
I put him on over cards. I believe my ace to be good as well - im certain he would have raised pre-flop with any ace. I figure that even if he has a pair ive still got heaps of outs.
I put my remaining 10 k (or there abouts) into the 40 something grand pot. Odds certainly on my side.
SB shows

He might have put me on the flush draw (great read if he did), but i was a little miffed that he called my 6k bet with a gut-shot.
Dammit, but i still had outs. Any ace and any spade still wins me the pot, a 4 will chop it.
NO luck, river comes
![[7h]](./images/smilies/cards/7h.png)
and im out with 150 left.
I definately had odds to call the last bet, but i guess in hindsight i could have raised pre-flop or pushed the flop also. But there were still two in the hand at both of those stages and the caller could be easily holding AJ or something similar.
Oh well, i guess these things happen.
What an awesome event though, should be held every week
I will definately be back next year.
