Re: Tanunda ........WTF
I think you should contact the Hotels manager and ask him the real facts behind the shift of poker companies. Or go back to the venue and try the new company. Thanks

Why?
The venue has decided to move on, for whatever reason they feel like. There is nothing we the players, or NPL, can do. Its old news.

Re: Tanunda ........WTF
I'm sorry yardy but the plush group can go to hell in my books.
I'm a riverlander that made the bus trip to Tanunda in what we all thought they would return the favor.
We moved our normal Tues game to monday to make the event a successful one, we were gyped what would have been the last night of their Wild Turkey promo have been like if 40+ Riverlanders and a dozen or so B&Gers who would not have gone there save for the riverlanders to make it a mega night.
No Wild Turkey Girls ........a bit of false advertising.
So their final night would have 35-40 if it we didn't come, our venues contributed to the Tanunda success and then they shaft us by changing companies, Well the Plush Group can go and get ripped I will never set foot in one of their hotels again.
On a positive note maybe the riverlander may be enticed one day in the future to make an assult on the Vine a Nuri or Capt Proud at MBridge, but I suppose we will have to wait until the sour taste of being shafted is washed from mouths.

Yeah, gundog, this has already been stated but you need to understand that the PLUSH GROUP (ie: 4 HOTELS) decided to leave NPL, not Tanunda. For all we know the TH didn't want to leave NPL, but PG management did. Maybe they did though, whatever. Its all conjecture. It looks bad, but I doubt there was anything that could've been done - and I'm sure the TH manager feels bad enough without everyone bitching about it.

well said AK
your summary is a concise summary of what forumers should know.
I have had personal approach from Ian [Tanunda Hotel Manager ]. re this thread and its contents. Ian would like it known his regrett and disappointment at what has occurred and thank all NPLers for their partcipatation at his Hotel. Most of the Management negotation were beyond his direct control and his Wild Turkey event was a indication of his attitude to poker and its players..please note Ian previously was the Manager of Waikieries Hotel..
Matts above thread reflects the mutual contentment betweem both parties and forumers note his suggested actions Please contact Ian, Matty or even myself re this incident. if further speculation is needed.
on a personal note -- I have lost two of my regular weekly NPL 's
venues
[REMOVED]
all in my bakyard
and now having other NPL-- B&G venues to add to my poker routine
Haaaa .the Life of a Poker Tragic
News Break---
Bounty Drink and Photo---- paid to the 'highest placed forumer" at the B & G Regionals ---to be known as the " BruceHoninised Cup " proudly brought to you by a Barossa winery that I drink at....

I'd love to see someone in a position to do so to deny this is the truth. If it is true great to see NPL supporting the B&G region and a significant employer and supporter of the local community.

Re: Tanunda ........WTF
The only reason NPL would walk away from a venue is if we were concerned about the safety of our staff and patrons, the attitude of venue staff and management and of course not paying your bills.
Tanunda was not dropped by NPL. Instead the plush group made a general business decision to change providers.
