I thought i would be more than that with the existing old system numbers + extras that have qualified from the on line system.
I mean i think we started with 407 last state finals ( benny the cunt's tourney)
I just imajined numbers of 5 or 600 due to the influx of online qualifiers.
ok, so there are 4 foundation games a day
12pm, pre game stretch, 730, 1030
thats 20 players a day, 140 a week to qualify.
because people don't get taken off the leaderboards if they qualify for more than one, then there will be less than this. assume that there is a 25% redundancy in these numbers (pure guess). also assume a 50% split between vic and sa.
thus, number of extra qualifiers = 140 * 0.75 * 0.5 = 53 extra players.
this number might even be less than this, because people that qualify online might also be top 5 at a pub.
Well worked out benny the cunt
I had forgotton that half the games are challenge and that the other half of the qualifiers for the foundation games will be victorian.
I was looking foward to some big numbers in the finals to come, not that there is anything wrong with 400. But i think when i first qualified way back in 07 there was 600 at the port club, so i guess it would have been great to get the numbers back up around that.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.
