the payout structure for the foundation game looks somewhat different this season than last.

it looks a lot flatter, with top 8 getting 4 figure paydays, although only 14 get paid now instead of 30.

what is the reason for this?

Top 10% getting paid. That's normal, I thought.

no, for the freeroll one, it is only listed as 14 runners.

first only gets 6k now instead of 10

my guess is, that they always wanted to make a flatter strucutre, but having a 10K first prize sounds a lot better than having a 6k first prize.

but now that the gf is gonna be an even bigger prize, the strructure is gonna be flatter.

still not sure why its not top 30 any more though

GF tickets are part of the prize structure now. The old prize structure would've only allowed a few places to be paid the tickets.
